  • 中性粒细胞除了作为吞噬细胞,还可以释放其细胞外染色质、核蛋白和丝氨酸蛋白酶形成网状纤维结构,称为中性粒细胞胞外诱捕网(NETs)NETs通常发挥抗菌作用,但过量的NETs可通过自身或增加促炎反应对周围组织造成损伤。NETs的产生与多种疾病的发生和进展密切相关,抑制NETs形成已成为目前减缓疾病进展的潜在治疗靶点。本文将从NETs的形成及其作用,对NETs在各类疾病发生发展中所起到的影响进行综述,同时探讨中药干预NETs治疗疾病的作用。

  • In addition to acting as phagocytes, neutrophils can also release their extracellular chromatin, nucleoprotein and serine proteases to form a reticular fiber structure called neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs). NETs usually exert antibacterial effects, but excessive NETs are harmful, causing damage to surrounding tissues by themselves or by increasing pro-inflammatory reactions. The production of NETs is closely related to the occurrence and progress of a variety of diseases. Inhibiting the formation of NETs has become a potential therapeutic target to slow down the progress of diseases. This article reviews the formation and role of NETs and the impact of NETs on the development of various diseases, meanwhile discuss the role of Chinese medicine in intervening NETs in treating diseases.
