• 糖尿病是一种慢性疾病，是全球健康挑战之一。糖尿病的主要危害是糖尿病并发症。随着生活水平和生活方式的不断变化，糖尿病及其并发症的发生率也不断上升。控制糖尿病患者的糖化血红蛋白水平是控制糖尿病及并发症的重要一环。二肽基肽酶4（DPP-4）抑制剂是一种新型口服降糖药物，可以通过增加胰高血糖素样肽1水平发挥生理性降糖作用。本文根据国内外相关文献报道，对DPP-4抑制剂西格列汀的药理作用及临床评价进行综述。

• Diabetes mellitus has severe complications that may cause major health threat. Achieving the optimal level of glycosylated hemoglobin is of great significance in risk control of diabetes mellitus. Dipeptidyl peptidase-4(DPP-4) inhibitor is a novel oral hypoglycemic agent that can lower blood glucose by increasing the level of glucagon-like peptide-1. This article summarized pharmacological actions and clinical evaluation Results     of DPP-4 inhibitor sitagliptin.
